Locations list

Tunnel Springs
North Salt Lake

Tunnel Springs has rolling hills and looks over the Great Salt Lake.

In the early spring you can expect bright green hills and the rest of the year it has tall yellow grass that is very popular!

Jordan Pines Campground
Big Cottonwood Canyon

This location has a large parking area and minimal hills and walking which makes it a great location if you want mountain photos without the hassle!

It also has lots of Pine trees meaning even in the winter it offers beautiful greens!

*the state now requires a fee for this area that you pay online

In Home
I come to you!
In-home sessions can take a lot of stress out of getting photos done, you don't have to worry about getting everyone out of the house on time.

In home sessions are most popular for newborn and headshot sessions but they can also be perfect for family and couple photos!

Lambert Park
Alpine
Lambert Park is beautiful in the summer months! It is a mostly shaded trail keeping you a little cooler.

It is about a 5-10 minute walk to get into all the trees and flowers so if you plan on wearing high heels or have members of your party who can't walk the mountain trails then this may not be the location for you.

Natural Light Studio
We have so many studios in Utah!
There are natural light studios in almost every city in Utah, which means we can find one close to you!

Most natural light studios offer seasonal backdrops and a clean simple look for your photos.

Utah Capitol
Salt Lake City
The Capitol is a free indoor place to take pictures and it also offers beautiful outdoor locations as well.

The Capitol is a great choice if you want a classy elegant look

If your session is in April or May you can also catch the cherry blossoms here!

Albion Basin
Little Cottonwood Canyon
Albion Basin has some of the best wild flowers during the summer months!

There is an entrance fee to get into the area and then you get to walk along dirt paths between the wild flowers!

Tibble Fork
American Fork Canyon
Tibble Fork is a favorite of my clients!
It has a large parking lot and then you can walk up the hill to get beautiful photos with the evergreens and the mountains.

Tibble Fork is accessible during the winter months making it a good year round location.

Squaw Peak
Provo Canyon
Squaw Peak, now known as Kyiv Peak, is gorgeous in all seasons and you can get gorgeous photos mere steps away from where you park!
This spot is a favorite of many so beware that it will be crowded on weekends during the height of fall colors

Temples
So many to choose from!
If you have a soon-to-be missionary or someone who is about to get baptized, then the temples make a wonderful spot for photos!

Highland Glen Park
Highland
This location is right in the middle of Highland and has lots of green and
a dried-up creek

This spot is good in late spring and throughout the summer, it is not a pretty location during the other times of the year.

Poppy Fields
Alpine
The poppies are only in bloom during June and July. After a short hike up to this spot, you get a view of the mountains and lots of red poppies!

It does get really crowded so if you don't want to worry about lots of people then I suggest a week day over the weekends.

Parking Garages
Provo and Sandy
I have found two great parking garages, one in Provo and one in Sandy.

You can go to the top of the parking garage and get very urban-looking photos. These are great options during the winter or if you want unique photos.

Daybreak Lake
South Jordan
The area around the lake has lots of different spots to take photos giving you lots of variety in your photos. You can get great mountain views and city-like photos.

Sand Dunes
Nephi
If you want to escape the green and embrace the neutrals, then the sand dunes will be perfect for you!

You will have to be willing to drive further as they are usually about 2 hours away from my clients.

Salt Flats
West of Salt Lake

The salt flats are unique to Utah and have beautiful views of the mountains while also making you really stand out beautifully in your photos!

It is about an hour away from Salt Lake so make sure to come prepared with snacks for after your photos!

City-County Building
Salt Lake
The grounds at the City Building have green grass, trees, and the building has gorgeous gold doors!

If you want city and green then this is a good location for you!

Center Street
Provo
Center Street in Provo has multiple different options for unique and fun photos! The areas for photos are small so this location is good for one to two people.

Butterfield Canyon
Butterfield Canyon is located south of Kennecott Mine and is a beautiful location during the summer and beginning of the fall. It is one of the first canyons to lose its fall colors.
Herriman

Utah Lake
I have 3 locations that are equally pretty and have views of Utah Lake.

Each location offers different strengths, if you are interested in Utah lake reach out so I can help find the best spot for you!
Vineyard, Saratoga Springs,
& Lehi

Antelope Island
This location is perfect for any session and it is gorgeous year round but there are a few things to be aware of.

It is a state park so there is a 40$ photo fee plus a small fee for you to get into the park for the day.

In the colder months the restrooms are locked. So plan to stop for a bathroom break beforehand if you have little ones.
Syracuse

International Peace Gardens
The International Peace Gardens has fun structures and beautifully maintained greenery. It is a perfect spot if you are looking for spring or summer photos but can't decide between greenery or an urban look! This spot would be great for any group of under 10 people.
Salt Lake City

Apple Orchards
The apple orchards are available in the fall and sometimes the spring when they are blossoming.

Apple orchards are privately owned so there are additional photo fees. Each orchard charges differently so we can discuss extra fees if this is an option that intrigues you!
